Morgan was nominated and accepted to the People to People International Student Exchange program. It is a little conservative and somewhat right-wing; however, it is a great opportunity for her. So on June 27, she leaves SFO at o-dark thirty in the morning; stops in Atlanta for a couple and then goes to Athens, Greece. She will be going to Crete on an overnight ferry and back to Greece; then go to Sicily via overnight ferry; then on another ferry to Pompeii then to Rome. She is a little nervous about the Vatican, because it's a church... She gets back on July 16th. I am busy buying needed clothing and necessities. Travellers' checks are out per the Delegation leader so I am trying to expedite a Pre-paid visa or mastercard for her. Sigh.. while wiping my brow...

We have a new kitten. Well, we have had her for a couple of months. Morgan played the Father vs Mother card. I said no, Dad fell in love, we have kitten.

The funny thing about this kitten is that everything is a play toy. Especially cell phones with a tie. You see my daughter's cell phone has a strap so she have hook it to her wrist or knapsack. The cat takes the phone via strap and plays with it. It had been lost for a couple of days. We found it outside in the "kitty porch" which is a stairwell closed in but open to the elements just outside the living room window.

I swear that she is a brownie in disguise....

I am trying to get some information about my knee. The MRI saw some "lesions". My doctor thinks it is pockets with water... But he scheduled me for a CT scan on Friday the 21 (the start of Yom Kippur). I was told to call on Monday. Just called... he will not be in until Friday.. GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!! fooby blech..

In addition, we have been waiting for Craig's new Liptor script. He went for the blood tests and saw the doctor. We call for a refill. Walgreen's have been trying to get the doctor to okay the script. The Doctor is no longer with the group. She was very pregnant. So Craig is an orphan again. The group never told anyone about the problem... On top of it, when calling, I got hung up by the receptionist; I called back and was asked to be put on hold. I went into ROARING MOUSE mode.. for cracken ice....

Therefore, I declare DOCTORS TO BE FOOBY BLECHS!!!! (fooby blech.. is from HACK the game...)

Margarett is still "alive" if you can call alive. Craig doesn't want to take fluids anyway from Margarett. She had a hemmoragatic stroke. This means it was a massive bleed of the brain and because it is deep, it can't be operated on to stop the bleeding. There is a zero chance of recovery.

I found out that the place she has been living at for the past three weeks was an Assisted Living unit. She was walking alot. The bedsore was being treated and the Administrator stated that there was a standing order from Margarett to have a bigger serving than the rest of the occupants.

It seems Victor was the primary and not Craig. This is a stupid move. Victor needs to be in an assisted living community. But when you have no money because you were a victim of fraud (his problem with alcohol), I don't see it happening.

He got out of the hospital today. There is a medical caregiver/social worker. Craig will tell me what is going on when I get back to work.

To be continued.....

The plane was to go to Dallas and then straight to Boston. NOT!!!! When I got to Dallas/Ft. Worth at 3am PST/6am CST, I had to grab another flight to Boston. I thought I had more time between flights so I bought my usual extra hot, extra shot, Venti Latte at Charbucks. They didn't stop me from going into the plane with it; but the flight attendant saw it and confiscate it! WAAAAAHHHH!!!! Got into to Boston at 11:55 am; one hour later. Well.. I travel on 9/11 (sorta of), went through the Big Dig (parts) so what else could I tempt. My luggage. I didn 't get my luggage until 8:20PM on 9/12.
I haven't posted in awhile. My dad called me on Friday the 8th that my Mom had a stroke. She is on life-support now. The prognosis is grim. Saturday, Dad called me while I was at the grocery store. I should have waited to call until I got home. However.... Dad said that if she comes off life support and lives through it, she will be okay. The doctors were going to remove the life support on Sunday. On Sunday the 10th, (Dad's Birthday...)they removed the life support; however, Mom wasn't responsing like she would recover. At 2:30am EST/10:30pm PST, Mom passed on. I have never heard Dad with this much emotion in his voice. The last time, Dad had to tell me about a death. He had already grieved before calling. That was when my brother Mark died. It is really scary to hear your Father who has always been strong with tears in his voice. I leave tonight on the red-eye to Boston and Dad will pick me up at the airport around 11:00 am EST. I will be back on Friday night.
